After pursuing a physics degree at the University of Zambia, I moved to the exciting world of data science, completing a masters degree in data science (with a specialization in data mining) at the University of Rwanda in 2020.

During my masters program, I also received a special training under the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in artificial intelligence and deep learning, focusing on a set advanced algorithms that interpret sound, image and text. My experience at JICA lead to a 2 months data science internship at one of the Japanese firms in Rwanda.

In 2020, I was awarded the prestigious MEXT Japnese government scholarship to study data engineering at the University of Tsukuba. I consider myself a highly motivated individual capable of taking on various tasks at the level of my proficiency with python and it’s ecosystem software like PyTorch etc.
