We are members of the Dartmouth College Class of 88, and want to create a special video with various references to Dartmouth for our classmates who are turning 50 this year.

For the new video, we want to have a similar whimsical feel. We are finalizing the music for the video, but attached is a near-final cut of the tune.

A Dartmouth tradition is people running around the homecoming bonfire (see attached picture). Another tradition involves Dr. Seuss’ characters (Dr. Seuss went to Dartmouth). In this video, we want to continue with his Cat in the Hat book by using the Cat, Thing 1 and Thing 2.

For the video, we would like the following:

1. Use the bonfire picture as the background.
2. Have the stylized 8 8 characters run around the bonfire in circles similar to other people in the background
3. Have the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2 stand on one side of the picture singing the tune
4. Have each verse of the tune shown on the screen as they are sung
5. End the video with all characters on screen as showing “Happy 50th to you”
