Create Revit BIM objects
Project details
We are seeking to build a library of BIM objects that comply with a UK national standard.
[url removed, login to view] lists a number of already approved BIM objects in a compliant [url removed, login to view] website is free to access but requires registration which is instantly available.
We already have 3D drawings of our products in a STEP format (other formats are possible). I am not familiar at all with revit but I think we also have to add some extra data which you can assume we can readily supply you with (things like electrical wattage, sound rating and so on).
Our products fall in the areas of hand dryers, electric water heaters and electric room heaters.
Of these, it seems there are already some examples of hand dryers that would form a good example. I will suggest a specific example to the freelancer.
This task then is to produce an equivalent BIM file to the example on the [url removed, login to view] site but with our product drawing and parameters.
We have around 30 products to do. Do remember that you can assume we supply you with a suitable step file – I enclose an example file below.
Please quote to do the BIM for the first Jetstream example and also the approximate cost for extra similar examples. I assume the first one will take more time, as you need to look at the examples and get the format right.
The output must be in Revit.
