Drupal site (add a static login page)

We have a draft of our site in [url removed, login to view] designed in Drupal by another coder. We are not experts in Drupal.
2. We want to change the section in the Drupal site on top named “Research” to “Research databases”. Inside we need o have a static page with the login to the intranet we want to protect with a securiy script this intranet will contain some access to different databases, the recover password info and the registration form. As one example a login page protected is another site we own that is in www.neuroncology.org.
3. The same items that are now in the [url removed, login to view] page should be inside the Drupal section (login, link to recover password and a link to regsitration form).
At the end, wee need a small report of how this was designed ans how it can be changed in case iw e need to do it.
