we have a website designed to take information from a client who is applying for insurance for filming operations
the website has a “front-end” or “client portal” — the client would be my customer
and a “back-end” or “broker portal” – I/we are the ” insurance broker”
when we take information from a client, it is what we call an “application” and the main purpose of this site is to eliminate the cumbersome paperwork, and streamlining the process

we have a variety of issues with the site
we need someone with a Macinstosh computer to perform the testing and fixes proposed here.
the reason for this is because the majority of our customers, who encounter the issue below, utilize a Mac
1st issue – MAIN ISSUE
When a client/customer successfully registers and completes an application for insurance, I am sent an email that includes BASIC contact information – like this:

but sometimes i get an email like this:

At that point, I email the customer – apologize for the inconvenience, and ask him to call me, because all I have captured on the website database is the customers’ email
When I interview them as to what happened and what kind of system they use, the majority of them are MAC USERS
*now I have had a variety of freelancers troubleshoot this and the working theory at that time, was that they were being timed out for extended sessions. I thought the issue was fixed, but alas, it has not been fixed
I NEED SOMEONE TO MAKE IT SUCH THAT, IF A CLIENT SPENDS THE TIME TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION, HIS DATA NEVER GETS LOST –
2nd issue
there is a “Master” password, that allows edits to the “broker” profiles that I have no way of changing
it may be hardcoded somewhere – the problem is that is a very simple password that was created for development and testing and my fear is that we are vulnerable to hacking-
