Need to fix shopify theme

The shopify theme I have by Shopify is showing duplicate, triplicate and many times over-plicate content on collections pages. This is a flaw that I need to have fixed. The collection description is showing on top of every page of the collection. This is happening for all collections that are created. I need to have only one description showing for each collection, no matter how many pages are in any particular collection.
