In need of a control for use with Google Maps.

The requirements of the control are.

**Design:**
1. Must be toolbox item in Visual Studio unless explained up front and agreed upon.
2. VB.NET must be the language unless agreed upon ahead of time to use C#, you will have to make your case.

**Functionality:
**1. Must be able to pass the control an address, it then displays address on map.
2. Must be able to pass a startpoint and endpoint to the control which then displays both address’s on the map as well as returns driving directions.
3. Markers need to be customizable with popups capable of a title, small description and image.
4. Ability to pass the control a startpoint and endpoint as well as an array of address’s the might be between and have the control determine which address’s to include between the 2.

Lastly, I would like to be able to pass in a startpoint, endpoint and an array or list of lat/long and a radius and have the control find all qualifying address’s in between the 2 so we can display driving directions as well as attractions between the 2 address’s.

I currently have a database with address’s. These currently do not contain Lat/Long information so the control needs to be able to return these so I can populate those fields.

We already have an address object we use which has the following properties.

1. Address1
2. Address2
3. City
4 State
5. Zip
6. Lat
7. Lng

My preferance would be to use the control in code something like as follows (where gmap is the name of the control).

‘Basic map of address.

Driving directions need to come back in a way that I can format and display them.

There have been many bids on this and I am close to accepting 1 of the bids, however noone has really been able to convince me they can complete the entire control, the part in particular noone has addressed is the radius or “store finder” type code. This would be acomplished using the lat/long of the 2 address’s passed in. The routine should be simple. if you can code a store finder then you know these have a radius to look in. This is basically 2 store finders. You have point A, You Have Point B. Instead of a user selecting find locations within x miles of point, you do something like this. Radius = Distance Between Point A and Point B / 2 Get every lat/long withing the radius of Point A, Get every lat/long withing the radius of Point B. So just 2 solo “store finder” type codes. I need to get this moving or re-post this so I am gicing it 1 more day before deciding. Thank you.
