I have an open source tool/app (based on python, flask, backbone and react and a couple more packages etc.) that needs some small modifications.

IMPORTANT: I need an experienced react/backbone/RESTful developer – please only bid if you are an advanced developer. Reason: someone experienced can get this done super quick.

REQUIREMENTS:

[1] The user can add some text to a model (this is already implemented) however it is not saved in the database. So after new page-load the added text is lost. Here you need to implement some catch JSON thing I guess and save it to the database. NOTE: I think the save method is already implemented – but not called and no JSON caught and stored in the database. It is just a matter of syntax or placing it right I guess. Again an expert will know.

There is also a text field pre-populated from the sqlite db where user can edit the displayed text this needs to be saved as well in the db as again after refresh the edits are not saved.

[2] Record time spent on a single page application. From page-load to a button press (simplest is ok – developers choice). Perhaps save the time by time: new Date(), TimeSpentOnPage: (time – new Date()). Can be measured by clicking Button in point. So here I want the time spend of the user on a page (DocumentView) measured until ButtonClick. When the user clicks the button go to the next page same again. All the timing data should also be saved in the database. I have the button code already to provide.

I need this done very urgently but it should not take long for an expert.
I’ll send the link to the tool to the successful developer.

NOTE: These are just some small changes for starters but if the developer is good then I’d like to keep him / her on for future changes.
